How do I get started sharingItUp?
You can either sign in through Facebook or choose to register your own username and password by simply clicking the 'Register' link in the top right of your PeopleDeals page. By registering an account and entering a home zip code you will have instant access to deals in your area and also be able to keep track of all the deals you have used in the past by going to your 'My Deals' tab.
How do I find a deal in my area?
By entering a location (state,city, or zip code) in the search bar on the 'Find Deals' page, you will automatically be shown all the best deals in your area.
How do I share a coupon?
Once you have found the deal you would like to pass on, click the 'shareItUp' button and choose your method of sharing (facebook, twitter, email, etc...). Once you have spread the deal to your friends, the more people to click your link, the better value your coupon will be.
How can I tell what the value of my deals are?
You can keep track of your deals by using the 'My Deals' tab when you are signed into your account. Once there, simply click on the deal you would like to keep track of and you will see 'Current Shares' (how many people have shared this deal) and 'Shares to Next Tier' (how many more people will have to share that deal to get to the next level of saving).
I have shared a coupon, now what?
Once you have shared a coupon, you can do a couple of things depending on that deal's value. You have the option to print it, call it up on your mobile app or utilize the online code (where applicable) to use the coupon immediately. Your other option is to wait for more people to share the deal so that you get the most value out of the coupon before using it. Just be sure you don't wait too long and miss the date range that the deal can be used. Don't forget you must be signed into your PeopleDeals account or linked to Facebook in order to see the deals you are currently participating in.
What's the difference between registering an account and signing in with Facebook?
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can still register an account as a PeopleDeals user. Logging in with your Facebook account allows easier sharing because your account is linked straight to PeopleDeals.
Do I have to be signed in to shareItUp?
While you are able to find and view deals without being signed in, you must log in to your account in order to participate in sharing a deal.
What is the link in 'My Deals' for?
This provides another method of sharing. You can copy and paste this link anywhere for friends to share by simply following the link and clicking shareItUp.
How do I use the coupons after I shareItUp?
Use of the coupon depends on the coupon type. If it requires an online code, you will follow the link provided on the coupon and enter the code. If the coupon is printable, plug in to your nearest printer and print out a unique copy of your coupon to be used in person. You can also redeem the coupon by bringing it up in the PeopleDeals mobile phone app and presenting it in person.
